Because Paul' s great uncles never legally changed the spelling of the family name when they came from Scotland, and because Paul and several of the others wished it would be Lister again, I prefer that myself. I certainly prefer the pronunciation folks use when it is spelled with an "i". In any event, when marriage changed my name, it made me ALL. ALL--that, I now am. Tongue in cheek, collective. . . "pro" noun. NOUN: Nice, Objective, Understanding Nature-lover ALL: A Life-long Learner BOTH: Born of Two Hearts The photo on the right was taken while visiting Jerusalem in 2008. As the story goes, the spot beneath the Dome is the place God is believed by many (Jews, Christians, & Muslims) to have promised to return to on Earth when his believers make a place for Him. SOCIMS: Stance On Controversial Issues, My Sentiments= If indeed that is what God said, it is my belief that He meant He would be with us here on our 3-D planet when and if we ALL learn to love one another as divinely as He loves ALL of us. So my opinion is: We should stop fighting over who builds what sort of edifice there, clear off the place, plant a garden in which only the most beautiful of His creations which He has blessed us with are placed, and agree that only those who emanate pure love should visit there. If anyone is there and is proven to have done or said anything unloving toward any other of God's creatures, they shall be forbidden [by a council of representatives from every sovereignty in the known universe] from ever lingering there again for an agreed-upon period of time (say 15 years). Offenders could be tattooed with a small mark on the sternum so that
showing that spot "at the gate" would reveal that you had not lost your
right to visit, yet no one else would need to know that you had made
that mistake. Lots of volunteers would work in the garden leading all
visitors to the gates, so that anyone who was marked as forbidden could
be politely and respectfully led right on through and out another nearby gate without being
noticeably excluded. If anyone is forbidden, the choice they made which was "unloving" should be used as a lesson for publication so that the rest of us learn more about what love is not. Then when everyone achieves a better understanding of what it is to truly LOVE, a lot of time will go by through which no one will have shown a lack of love in that place. God may return, or at least we might slowly expand the radius in which we ALL see to it that no one behaves un-lovingly. At that point we will at least have destroyed Hell on Earth. Any thoughts on that LONGEST-RANGE Plan ever???? Here in 2010, consensus is difficult to achieve among dozens, let alone millions or billions.

  Just above is a photo taken of the Sea of Galilee. It is much smaller now than when Jesus walked the Earth. From the Golan Heights, the entire lake can be seen. It was terrific to have been able to visit there near Christmas 2008. Every once in a while, I will post some pics from my time in the Middle East. Here are a few:
