Miscellaneous Views from Kazakhstan

Dinara, Rachel, Gunay, and ALL on top the Grand Hotel Victory at left. The glass wall of the indoor restaurant reflects the veranda where we enjoyed our pizzas and the other ladies shared a bottle of wine.  My share was the empty bottle for a souvenir.

<<  Clearly, I have not lost too much of my excess mass yet.  Rachel and I posed with the Caspian sunset while Dinara took the picture.  The pier lights up at night; but we were tired and thirsty so we went on home.

This red-sail ship is not floating, or even real, It is a restaurant built to mimic an old ship near the shoreline.
