Flurry visited over at Five Springs.  He has been a good friend to the Oregon Family.  Mimi sent these pics to post.

Here is a link to a page that ID's several western wildflowers.  MScott sent these pics from the ranch for ID.

Not sure if the closeup is the correct ID for the shrub or not.  If it is, the shrub is a sticky cinquefoil.

Mimi took these wildflower pictures while on a walk over at the ranch.  Click on the scientific name for more info on them.  There is one white one that I can't ID.  It looks like a garlic mustard on steroids.  I will let you know if I figure out what it really is.

This page of the views are of the "western" places in my heart.  ALL-connected in some way.  M.Scott is still getting light snows at Five Springs still in the 3rd week in May.

Large herds of Elk surround him most every evening and morning.

Mimi spends as many weekends at the ranch as she can manage.

It is great that they are geographically close enough, especially for holidays.

Snow on May 21st, 2010 >>>

Mimi hunts on the ranch and the animals did not hide from her this time.

Andy will be active for another 2 years.  "Once a Marine, Always a Marine"???

Cosmo, above is one of the 2 cats that lives at 5 Springs.  Below is a picture of Roxy.

Baby elk at Indian Shadow >>>>

This is Dash, who also lives at 5 Springs.

The promised page on the great white hunters of the family, and their trophies is forming.  They say Mimi is thinking of getting a domesticated bobcat like the one she visited the last time she was over at the ranch.  Apparently kittens can be purchased somewhere in Montana.

Mimi took this neat shot of Mt. Hood above the mist.   It was taken from a view out of  the VA hospital in Portland.

Seth and Lindsey have set June 11th, 2011 for their wedding day at Indian Shadow Ranch in Hesperus. They had quite a bit of snow this winter.  Can you see the indian's shadow on the mountain?

Lindsey's new cerology salon opened May 5th in Durango.  Check it out if you are using FBook.

Mount Baldy behind ISR

Janell helped out at Five Springs so we could all be together to celebrate Gram and Mimi's birthday on March 26th.  Gram was 100 years old.  Pictures from the party will be on another page.  Thanks so much Janell!

Norm Gnome travels with Mimi to 5 Springs, and Cousin (in-law&heart) AnnaLee travels to Oregon to visit her younger son's family in Portland .

Two Mule deer at 5 Springs earlier this year.  Doesn't  this picture look like a Christmas Card?  I think Mimi was the photographer.

He did that on purpose, too.
